Plate by Plate

Kit & I were invited to be celebrity sous-chefs tonight for an event called Plate by Plate put on by Project by Project. I got to work with M cafe de chaya. How perfect ! I eat there every Thursday night. We were able to bring our significant others so we had a great time tasting all the foods from some of L.A. s finest restaraunts. It was at the Science Center downtown. What a beautiful space.

Garden Party Opens Tonight.

Garden Party opens today July 11. In Los Angeles, the film can be seen at the following locations. Sunset 5 in Hollywood, the Monica 4 in Santa Monica, the Playhouse 7 in Pasadena and in Irvine at the University Town Center.

The film is also showing in New York, Seattle and Portland. I definitely recommend it.

I went to the premiere of Garden Party tonight at the Vista. It was awesome ! I suggest seeing it in the theatres. It opens tomorrow.

Tonight we went to Paramount to see the premiere of Generation Kill. It is a new HBO series on the war in Iraq from the Marines point of view. Our friend PJ has a starring roll so we went in support.It was amazing and I felt a bit overwhelmed afterwards. The series starts this Sunday July 13 on HBO. I would definitely suggest watching it.PJ also invited Chloe Sevigny (my muse for Fall Fashion 2008 collection). Wow! She was even more beautiful in person. She is really nice too and I am glad I met her. Of course she was dressed perfectly hip in a ruched cream bustier top and black pleated trousers. Fabulous!

Today we had another party for Sage at Moonlight Roller Rink. It was a B-Day party for Sage, Matt Murphy and Dexter. I stole these shots from Mikey P. Florice & I did spins in the middle until I was so dizzy I fell down. Skating backwards was fun too until I tried to turn around to quickly and ate it. My knee has a huge bruise. Bummer. After roller skating for 2 hours we headed over to Carousel my favorite middle eastern restaurant. There were about 40 of us. Crystal Meers brought the best red velvet cupcakes. DELICIOUS !

Sage's Birthday was  jam packed with fun. First we had Breakfast at Marmalade Cafe with Sage's family. Next we went to my sister Goo's house for a B-Day BBQ. And to top it off we went to Dinner with Santino and Patrick. Fun, Fun, Fun. Too much food though.
